Infusion
Infusion is an alcoholic drink that is made by steeping certain ingredients in alcohol. Unlike liqueurs, Infusion do not contain sugar and are generally stronger. Common ingredients for infusion include fruits, herbs, spices, tree bark, flowers, berries, and nuts, which may be steeped in high-proof alcohol for days, weeks, or months to create intense aromas and flavors. Infusion can be used as ingredients in cocktails, or consumed on their own as an after-meal digestif. They can also be homemade or commercially produced, and are available in a wide range of different flavors and strengths.
