Balvenie Doublewood is a masterpiece of botanical art that is perfectly expressed in the aroma and taste of this exquisite whisky. It is produced in Scotland and expertly aged twice in oak barrels. Initial aging in American oak barrels gives the whiskey a pleasant depth of warmth and spice, known as "hints of vanilla". Then the whiskey is aged again in barrels made of dry oak trunks from Europe, which gives it a characteristic spicy-citrus aroma and adds subtlety and depth of taste.
