Hugel Gewurztraminer Estate is a superb wine produced by the Hugel family winery in Riquewihr, Alsace. The wine is made from traditional Gewürztraminer varieties, which are grown on Hugel's own plantations. The wine has a beautifully infused aromatics of sweet melon color with a pleasant note of pineapple and hints of tangerine and blossoming mint. The taste is pleasantly bitter with a long and deep bitterness and sweetness. This wonderful wine goes well with cheeses, shrimp and first courses of dry beans.
